We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2024, at the age of 84, Mary H. Silva of Raynham, Massachusetts, born in Taunton, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry L. Silva and Theresa A. Silva (Chaisty). She is survived by: her friend Sue Maxwell (Class); and her siblings, Margaret A. Silva-Pacheco of Dighton, Patricia E. Martin of Stafford, VA, Alicia Theresa Basti of Newburyport, Barbara I Silva of Berkley, Joseph L. Silva of Lakeville and Henry L. Silva of Berkley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sowiecki-Snyder Home For Funerals & Cremation Services (69 W Britannia St, Taunton, MA 02780). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to American Red Cross or the non-profit of your choice.
