She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Canhas and Regina Canhas (Freitas); and her son Emanuel Teixeira. She is survived by: her spouse Valdemar Teixeira; her children, Karen C. Belleni (Michael) of Swansea, Peter A. Teixeira of Raynham and Angelo C. Teixeira (Jessica Kenneally) of Taunton; her grandchildren, Olivia, Von, Isabella, Xavier, Matthew, Nicholas, Andrew, Jenelle, Jack, Joey and Cora; her great grandchildren, Maria, Rosalie, Grady and Flora; her daughter-in-law Kathleen Teixeira of Taunton; and her siblings, Angelina Correia of Madeira, Portugal, Sylvia Mendonca of Madeira, Portugal and Nino Canhas of Madeira, Portugal. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; a daughter in law.
