He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Cote and Edna Cote (Gauvin) of Raynham; his wives, Elaine LeBrun and Precille Lemieux; and his daughter Florence.

He is survived by: his siblings, Laurence, Richard (Nobert), Jean, Ernest, Anita, Claire and Florence; his grandsons, Frank and William Cote; his great grandchild Zachary Tuttle; his sons, Donald (Jeanne), Douglas (Cheryl), David Cote of Taunton and Dennis "Topper" (Debbie); his granddaughter Denise Whitmore (Steven Whitmore) of Taunton; and his siblings, Paul Cote of Taunton, Lorraine Williams of Florida and Yvonne Bird of Taunton. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.
