She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. Unger and Vivian Unger (Allaire); and her sister Karen Compton. She is survived by: her husband Robert D. McElroy, Sr. of Raynham; her sons, Robert McElroy, Jr. (Lynn) of Raynham and William McElroy (Barbara) of Berkley; her grandchildren, Jami McElroy (Alyssa), Lauren Martineau (Shawn), Devin McElroy, Shayne McElroy (Sandyn) and Kayla McElroy (Mitchell); her great grandchildren, Anthony, Dominic Gianfrancesco, Kyler Martineau, Barret McElroy and Aviyen Merced; and her sisters, Susan Rafferty and Vivian Mendelsohn (Michael) of Rockport. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home (80 Broadway, Taunton, MA 02780). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
