He was predeceased by: his wife Jill F LaFrance (Caton) of Margeret's Church; his parents, Hervey R. LaFrance and Ruth C. LaFrance (Richard); his son Matthew C. LaFrance; and his sister-in-law Pauline LaFrance.

He is survived by: his significant other Linda Jarvio; his children, Christopher J. LaFrance (Wendy), Kerrin A. LaFrance (Gregory Smith) and Jessica LaFrance (Paul Kolbjornsen); his grandchildren, Teresa M. Patukonis (Michael), Noah Brink, Genevieve Smith and Savion Smith; his great grandchildren, Benjamin and MJ Patukonis; his sister-in-law Jean Caton; and his nieces, Collette Lincoln, Monique Merritt, Jeannine LaFrance-Travers and Denise Sullivan. He is also survived by her loving family, including four children, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
