She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio C. "Tony" Vaz; her parents, Ludwig Woelfle and Mathilde Woelfle (Maier); and her siblings, Mathilda Scherbak and Ludwig Woelfle.
She is survived by: her children, Joanne Hooley of Somerset, Francis Vaz of Berkley, Robert Vaz of Taunton and Michael Vaz of Berkley; her children-in-law, Robert Hooley, Patricia Vaz, Amy Vaz and Pamela Vaz; her grandchildren, Geoffrey Langfield (Brandie), Eric Langfield (Elizabeth), Jason Vaz (Christine), Corey Vaz, Nicholas Vaz (Christine), Cara Pari (Al), Matthew, Grace and Benjamin Vaz; and her great grandchildren, Olivia, Paige, Chloe, Pearl Langfield, Harper, Sloane, Bristol Langfield, Kaylee Cumbus and Tayvn Pari. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts made to Sunset Hospice or the St.Vincent de Paul Society in Erna's memory would be deeply appreciated.
