He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Ruebel and Mary M. Ruebel (McNeil). He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Ruebel (Lynch); and his sons, Charles H. Ruebel, III and Jerry Michael Flanagan. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 nieces.
