He was predeceased by: his former wife Pamela McElroy (DiLorenzo); his parents, Charles S. McElroy and Helen J. McElroy (O'Neil); and his sister Ann Marie Uva. He is survived by: his children, Robin L. Gendron (David) of Taunton, Sharon L. Dupont (Mark) of Taunton, Charles S. McElroy (Shannon Andrade) of Taunton and Lauren A. Bowser (Hugh) of Taunton; his brother Joseph McElroy (Gilda); his grandchildren, Christopher Shea, Taylor, Hannah, Hugh Bowser, Beck, Erica Gendron and Morgan Dupont; and his brother John McElroy. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren extended family and countless lifelong friends.
