She was predeceased by: her husband Richard "Dick" Almeda; her parents, John Fitzgerald and Margaret Elsie Fitzgerald (Brenner); and her siblings, Robert Fitzgerald and Thomas Fitzgerald.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy McGovern (Bob), David Almeda and Daniel Almeda (Jeanne); her grandchildren, Jeff McGovern (Saige), Greg McGovern (Jenna), Andrew McGovern, Elise McGovern and Alannah Almeda; her great grandchildren, Finnigan, Amelia, Jameson, Virginia and Madison; and her sisters, Bertha Ferrier and Patricia Pestana. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Silva Funeral Home (80 Broadway, Taunton, MA 02780). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
