He was predeceased by: his wife Valerie M. (Sakowitz); his son William A. Franke, Jr.; and his sister Elizabeth "Tootsie" Conlon. He is survived by: his daughter Beth Franke (Shawn Garneau); his brothers, Donald Franke and Arthur "Skipper" Franke; and his friend Mike O'Neil of Randolph.
