She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Pomer and Sadie Pomer (Gangi); her husband James A. Whalen; her siblings, Margaret Yarosh, Dr. Frank Pomer, Salvatore Pomer, Jeanette Regnier and Joseph Pomer; and her grandparents, Colton, Charlotte, Enzo and Olivia.
She is survived by: her children, Andrea Whalen (Tim) of Gardner, Christine Apromollo (Michael) of Plymouth, Joseph Whalen (Kristen) of Quincy, Gerald Whalen (Paula) of Scituate, James A. Whalen, Jr. (Tanya) and Bridgewater; her sisters, Dorothy Haddad of Weymouth, Eleanor West of Peabody and Marie Pomer of Peabody; her grandchildren, Dana, Nicholas, Patricia, Timothy, Melissa, Shannon, Michaela, Kaitlyn, Austin, Sarah, Dominic and Andrew; and also Maddison.
