She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Smith and Doris Smith; and her sibling Francis Vaughan. She is survived by: her husband Anthony P. Vecchione Sr.; her children, Anthony P. Vecchione Jr. (Leslie McElhiney) of Yarmouth, Michael J. Vecchione (Any Veiga) of Brockton and Marie E. Ghelfi (Gary Chevalier); and her siblings, Margie Williams of Georgia, Carol Nimmo of Framingham and Nelson Smith of Avon. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
