He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul "Chicky" Gallagher and Joan Gallagher; and his brother Kevin. He is survived by: his wife Colleen Gallagher; his children, Tara (Dusty Wise), Michael (Caitlyn Gallagher), Julie (Johnny Figueroa) and Jeremy (Juhaina Gallagher); his grandchildren, Lander, Michael, Zane, Ethan, Harper, Isabella and Travis; and his siblings, Paul, Kathleen, Patricia, Tommy, Brian and Jean.

In lieu of flowers or gifts donations in Mick's memory can be made to the American Heart Association.
