He was predeceased by: his stepson Lawrence Hicks; his brother Leroy; and his parents, William Grice and Pauline Grice. He is survived by: his wife Maggie Grice (Martin); his child Paris Grice; his stepdaughter Michelle Hicks of Randolph; and his siblings, Lavonnie Vaughters (Gil), Denise Hyman (Roy), David, Mitchell and Michael Grice. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
