He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Donnelly and Beatrice Donnelly (Jones); and his brother Richard Donnelly. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Donnelly (Hayes); and his sister Patricia Hagan. He is also survived by his aunt, many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Unit, the Hilltop Humane Society or to a charity of your choice.
