With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James L. Vella of Randolph, Massachusetts, born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 16, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucian Vella and Helen Vella (Morata). He is survived by: his children, Nadeen Vella of Boston, Nicole Vella-Mueller (Patrick) of Cohasset and Mark Vella (Danielle) of Milton; the mother of his children Evelyn Vella of Scituate; his grandchildren, Sienna, Maya and Andrew; and his sister Marie Poto (Anthony) of Salem. He is also survived by his cousins, nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rosie's Place or Wounded Warrior Project in memory of James.
