He was predeceased by: his wife Rose E. Haley (LaCivita); and his grandson Joseph. He is survived by: his stepchildren, William Pfingston (late Pat) of Canton, Robert Pfingston (Donna) and Marjorie Hennessy. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
