She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph "Joe" Bessette; her parents, Martin McLoughlin and Kathleen McLoughlin (Walsh); her son John Bessette; and her sisters, Mary MacKay, Catherine McRudin (Kay), Elizabeth Svirsky (Betty), Josephine Hughes and Johan McLoughlin.
She is survived by: her aunt Nancy; her sons, Joseph, Alan (Nancy), Ronald (Polly), Thomas (Isaac) and Robert (Thalia); her siblings, Nora Gracia (Pat), Helen Orzuchowski, Lill McLoughlin and Martin McLoughlin (Susan); her grandchildren, Joseph Bessette (Colleen), Nitai Bessette (Caroline) of Canada, Stephen Bessette (Kelly), Daniel Bessette, Lianna Bessette (Scott), Rebecca Quackenbush (Thomas) and Maria Bessette; and her great grandchildren, Lucas, Hayden, Jaycen, Gianna, Maureen, Lucy and Zoe. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
