He was predeceased by: his brothers, Arthur, John and Mike Maher. He is survived by: his daughter Suzanne Maher-Perkins (Thomas Perkins) of Holbrook; his grandson Mark Simonelli of Abington; his sister Mary Dowling of Quincy; and his niece Tara Maher. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hamel-Lydon Chapel (650 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02170). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Of Divine Mercy Parish (115 Crescent St, Quincy, MA 02169). A burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at the Pine Hill Cemetery (815 Willard St, Quincy, MA 02169).
