It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paula E. Kahakalau of Quincy, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 30, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ruth Hartrey (Cavanaugh) of Quincy and Daniel Hartrey; her daughter Joyce Kahakalau of Quincy; and her siblings, Daniel Hartrey of Eliot, ME, Ann Betts of Newmarket, NH and David Hartrey of Bridgewater, MA..
Visitation was held on Monday, September 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Keohane Funeral Home - Quincy (785 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02170). A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 9th 2024 at 1:15 PM at the Mount Wollaston Cemetery (200 Greenleaf St, Quincy, MA 02169).
