Michael J. Martin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2024, at the age of 73, Michael J. Martin of Quincy, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Michael touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Martin and Mildred Martin (LeHane) of Quincy, MA.. He is survived by: his wife Janet Martin (O'Connell); and his brothers, Ed (Lynda), Peter (Linda), Paul (Kate) and Jim (Roberta). He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keohane Funeral Home (785 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02170). A Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Divine Mercy Parish in Sacred Heart Church (386 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02171).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
