He was predeceased by: his parents, John Geary and Bridget Geary (Canavan); his sister Bridie Martina Geary of Galway, Ireland; and his wife Catherine Geary (Walsh) of Quincy. He is survived by: his significant other Judy Mulkerrin; his children, Michael and Ava Geary of Quincy; his stepdaughters, Catherine Albanese (Vincent) of Quincy and Patricia Pratt (Joseph) of North Hudson, NY; and his siblings, Sean Geary (Theresa) of County Galway, Ireland, Maureen Thornton (Máirtin) of County Galway, Ireland, Lizzie Folan (Michael) of County Galway, Ireland, Noreen Lydon of County Galway, Ireland, Marcus Geary of County Galway, Ireland and Noel Geary of County Galway, Ireland. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
A wake will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Casper Funeral Home (187 Dorchester St, Boston, MA 02127).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Norwell VNA Hospice Care in his memory.
