He is survived by: his wife Karen Player of Quincy; his children, Nicole Player of Hingham and Christopher Player of Boston; his mother-in-law Vivian Carey of Quincy; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Roach (Mike), Robert Carey (Kristina), Joan Carey and Cheryl Sullivan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and several lifelong friends who he considered brothers.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Keohane Funeral Home (785 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02170). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Pine Hill Cemetery (835 Willard St, Quincy, MA 02169).
