It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph F. Pollara of Quincy, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Joseph had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Joseph may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his girlfriend Kathleen Jones; and his sister Beverly A. Thomas. He is survived by: his siblings, Annette S. Casey (late John C. Casey, Jr.) of Cohasset and Gayle V. Palino of Boston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Parish (44 School St, Quincy, MA 02169). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Hingham Cemetery (12 South St, Hingham, MA 02043).
