We bid farewell to John J. Mulligan of Quincy, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 22, 2024 at the age of 57. John J. touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John J. As we bid adieu to John J.'s earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration John J. has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parent Gerry Flaherty (late Matthew); his siblings, Kathleen and Tim (Tori); and his father Jack.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Keohane Funeral Home - Quincy (785 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02170). A celebration of life was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Saint Mary's Church (95 Crescent St, Quincy, MA 02169). A burial was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Blue Hill Cemetery (700 West St, Braintree, MA 02184). For the past 24 years he served to protect the patients and staff as an employee of the Police and Security Department at Massachusetts General Hospital where he has been recognized for his service especially through such events as the Boston Marathon bombing and Covid 19 pandemic.
