It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Fahey of Quincy, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John J. Fahey to pay them a last tribute.
As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Fay E. (Hartnett); his sons, John J. Fahey Jr. of Kingston, Mark W. Fahey (Cynthia) of Plymouth and Matthew J. Fahey of Manvel, Texas.; his brothers, Henry Fahey of Dedham and Paul Fahey of Quincy; and his grandchildren, Graysen, Quinlin and Declan.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home (326 Granite Ave, Milton, MA 02186). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Agatha Parish (432 Adams St, Milton, MA 02186).
