He was predeceased by: his parents, Dimitris Demopoulos (Δημόπoυλος) and Eleni Mavroydi (Μαυροειδή); and his brother Konstantinos Demopoulos. He is survived by: his children, Eleni Demopoulos, James Demopoulos (Kendra), Kristen Demopoulos and Matthew Demopoulos (Alyx); his grandchildren, Christopher, Delilah, Maria, Nikoletta, Catharine, Alexandra, John and Elizabeth-Marie; and his brothers, Theodoros Demopoulos (Angeliki) of Athens, Greece, Panagiotis Demopoulos of Stoneham, Massachusetts and Athanasios Demopoulos (Voula) of Arlington, Massachusetts..

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral (514 Parker St, Boston, MA 02120). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
