Joan E. Coady Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan E. Coady of Quincy, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 24, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Joan shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joan farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernani F. Pestilli and Eleanor L. Pestilli (D'Angelo); and her sister-in-law Linda J. Pestilli. She is survived by: her daughter Lisa M. Downey (Jack) of Braintree; and her brothers, Richard P. Pestilli (Lillian) of Sandwich and Stephen J. Pestilli (Karen Dinsmore) of Norwell. She is also survived by three nieces, one nephew.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McMaster Funeral Home (86 Franklin St, Braintree, MA 02184). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Francis of Assisi Church (856 Washington St, Braintree, MA 02184).
