Jane L Frustaglia Obituary

Jane L. Frustaglia of Quincy, MA. Daughter of Mary Hackett and Norman Fickett sr.A beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away surrounded by loved ones peacefully on June 16, 2024, at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, MA.

Born March 2nd 1950 in Boston, MA. A proud graduate of Hyde Park High School. Jane's life was a testament to her loving nature, her kind spirit, and her wonderful sense of humor that brought joy to all who knew her.

Jane was a passionate individual with a variety of interests that reflected her zest for life. She was an avid reader, often found with a book in her hand, lost in the pages of a gripping novel. Her love for the television show NCIS was well-known, as was her enthusiasm for Boston sports, which she followed with passion and pride.

Family was the cornerstone of Jane's world. She was the loving mother of Natalie Frustaglia of Rockland and Katherine Frustaglia of Weymouth along with her two beloved grandchildren Devin Frustaglia and Jaidyn Frustaglia. Her role as a mother, and a grandmother was what she cherished deeply, guiding her daughters and grandson's with love, wisdom, and the occasional dose of humor that made every lesson memorable.

Jane's sister Donna Fickett and her wife Joan Bell of Quincy, Carolyn Kane of Weymouth, Jane's nephews Todd, Scott and Kieth Kane, Brother Norman Fickett, and his wife Peg of FL, Jane's nephew Troy Fickett, Jane's niece, Deborah Fickett-Gearty.

Along with her best friend Kathleen Milley of Quincy and many more friends and family members will fondly remember her as someone who always brought light and laughter into their lives.

Jane's ability to make those around her feel loved and appreciated was unmatched. Her kindness was a beacon that drew people to her, and her funny anecdotes and infectious laughter were the highlights of many family gatherings. She nurtured relationships with the same care and attention.

The legacy Jane leaves behind is one of love, laughter, and the importance of cherishing the simple moments in life. Her impact on the world was as profound as it was gentle, and she will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

As we bid farewell to Jane L. Frustaglia, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a heart that was generously shared. Her memory will continue to inspire and comfort us in the days to come. Jane's light will never fade; it will continue to shine in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were touched by her remarkable spirit.

Relatives and friends invited to attend a Funeral Service at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Saturday June 29th at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Canton Corner Cemetery.
