He is survived by: his wife Maureen Dempsey (Shaw) of Quincy; his children, Michael Dempsey of Quincy and Kara Lutner; his son-in-law Sean Lutner of Norfolk; his brother Mark Dempsey of Weymouth; and his grandsons, Henry and Will Lutner of Norfolk. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
