She was predeceased by: her husband William E. Tompkins, Sr.; her parents, Neil J. Gillis and Mary "Jessie" Gillis (Gillis); and also, John J. Gillis, Alexander Gillis (Brandi) of Canada and Christine MacLellan (late John).
She is survived by: her children, Gail A. MacDonald of Quincy, William E. Tompkins, Jr. (Gail) of Kingston, Cynthia M., Brenda L. Tompkins of Norton and John F. Tompkins (Karen) of Richmond Hill; her grandchildren, Ryan, Katie Anne, Neil MacDonald, Kristin, Kimberly, Thomas Nee III, Caleigh and Liam Tompkins; and also, Anne O'Connor (Gordon) of Canada, Margaret H. MacIsaac (John) of Canada, Peter A. Gillis (Georgina) of Canada, Barbara Gillis (late Angus) of Canada and Blaise Gillis of Canada. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sweeney Brothers Home For Funerals (1 Independence Ave, Quincy, MA 02169). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Saint John the Baptist Church (44 School St, Quincy, MA 02169).
