It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Esther E. Madden of Quincy, Massachusetts, born in Ipswich, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 27, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Esther had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Esther may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Rambo and Hazel Rambo (Kneeland); her sister June Rambo Iola; and her daughter Johanna. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She returned to Quincy in 2020, with the advent of the COVID pandemic.
