We bid farewell to Elizabeth F. Bowes of Quincy, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 31, 2024 at the age of 83. Elizabeth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Flaherty (McDonald) and William Flaherty; her sons, Donny and Donald Bowes Jr. (Christine); and her siblings, Mary Ostiguy, William Flaherty, Margaret Flaherty, Patricia Jones and Thomas Flaherty.
She is survived by: her stepmother Margaret Flaherty; her husband Donald Bowes Sr.; her children, Thomas Bowes (Kathleen) and Michael Bowes; her grandchildren, Thomas Bowes Jr. (Katherine), Donald Bowes Jr., Elizabeth Bowes-Fournier (Timothy), Jennifer Bowes, Shane Ceurvels, Matthew Bowes, Kaitlyn and Bridget Sawyer; her sister Ann Long (Ralph); and her siblings-in-law, Mary Gilmore, Linda Bowes, Audrey Bock, Douglas, Nancy Bowes, Robert, Jeanne Bowes, Thomas Bowes, Bud Jones, Frank Gilmore and Edward Ostiguy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Keohane Funeral Home - Quincy (785 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02170). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann Church (Divine Mercy) (757 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02170).
