Doris P. Currie Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2025, at the age of 89, Doris P. Currie of Quincy, Massachusetts, born in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Doris farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Doris is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Currie; her children, John and Joline; and her grandchildren, John Little, Laura Petrucci, Jeffrey Currie, Clinton Currie, Jason Currie, Jennifer Currie and Jonathan Powers. She was also cherished by many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamel-Lydon Chapel (650 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02170). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
