He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret G. Barry (O'Brien) and Paul V. Barry. He is survived by: his spouse Jean M. Doherty; his son Christopher Barry of Maine; his stepchild Kelly Narbonne of Dorchester; and his sister Patricia Manning of Weymouth. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
