It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles E. Sylvester of Quincy, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Sylvester and Edward Sylvester; and his siblings, Edwina Purssell (Sylvester) and Peter Sylvester of Cocoa Beach, Fla. He is survived by: his brother Frank Sylvester (Carole Donohue) of Brockton, MA; his sister-in-law Anne Sylvester of Cocoa Beach, Fla; his stepsons, Tom Callahan (Lori) of Brewster, MA and Michael Callahan of Boston, MA; his stepgranddaughter Carrie Sylvester of Kingston, MA; and his grandchildren, Colby Ross of Brighton, MA and Devan Ross (Kingston).

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church (1981 Ocean St, Marshfield, MA 02050).
