With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Bernice M. DePietro of Quincy, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband James DePietro; her child Artie John DePietro; her parents, John Callahan and Lillian Callahan; and her brother Jack Callahan.
She is survived by: her children, Lee DePietro of Quincy, Lori O'Brien (Paul) of Westwood, Lillian Sitcawich (Ron) of West Roxbury, Donna Niosi (late Peter) of Quincy, James DePietro (Carlotta) of Westwood and Bernice Alers (Jeff) of Franklin; her siblings, Barbara Passalacqua, Lillian Burke and Arthur Callahan; and her caregiver Helen Golden.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sweeney Brothers Home For Funerals (1 Independence Ave, Quincy, MA 02169). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Parish in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church (227 Sea St, Quincy, MA 02169).
