She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Meade and William Meade; and her daughter Joan Laitinen. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Laitinen; her daughters, Nancy McPartlin (Sean) of Rockland and Linda Brundage (Dan) of Abington; her sister Nancy Parrish of Quincy; her siblings-in-law, John and Helen Laitinen of Rockland; her niece Kathy Parrish of Quincy; and her grandchildren, Alex Laitinen, Michael Lyons, Jessica Brundage, Sydney Brundage, Lacey Brundage, Mary McPartlin and Katie McPartlin Barbara.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dana Faber Cancer Institute in memory of Barbara.
