He was predeceased by: his parents, Armand Hamel Sr. and Genevieve Hamel (Norton); his brother Arthur Hamel (Andre); his wife Marilyn Hamel (Bubier) of Quincy; and his daughter Sandra.
He is survived by: his children, Linda, Joanne, Robin, Michele, Jon, Mark, Judy, Nancy and Paul. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
