He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Sandberg and Mabel Sandberg (Embair); his son Kurt Sandberg; and his brothers, Gordon and Steven Sandberg.
He is survived by: his wife Sophie Sandberg (Lupienski); his children, William E. Sandberg of Princeton and Kristin Amons (Paul) of Oakham; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Amons, Jordyn Martin, Nathan Amons and Kaylee Amons.
