She was predeceased by: her parents, Myron Smith and Helen M. Smith (Jackson); her brothers, Lawrence, Ron and Jeff Smith; and her half-brother Myron Whittles.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth L. Knowles, Jr.; her daughters, Pamela J. Furno of Barre, Debra L. Kortenhoeven (Eric) of Templeton, Laurie H. Cole (David) of Jefferson and Lisa V. Kinell (David) of Barre; and her sister Katharine Stimpson Keene (Smith) of Princeton. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
