She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gushue and Emily Gushue (Gatherall). She is survived by: her husband Newman A. Flanagan of Pocasset; her children, John Flanagan (Patricia) of Andover, Rosemarie Flanagan Beltis (Donald) of Walpole, James Flanagan (Jean) of Mansfield, Paul Flanagan (Kathy) of Bretton Woods, NH, Eileen Kelly (James) of Walpole and Emily Flanagan (Michael Sheehan) of Charlestown; her grandchildren, John Flanagan, Erin Guyer and Ryan Flanagan; her children, Christopher Beltis, Austin Beltis, Elizabeth Flanagan, Sarah Palmer, Ryan Flanagan, Nora Rose Kelly, Joseph Flanagan and Newman Flanagan III (Kristen) of Arlington; and her great grandchildren, Lotsie, Deaglan, Rory Flanagan, Lily, Jack Guyer and Luke Palmer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapman Funerals & Cremations - West Falmouth (584 W Falmouth Hwy, West Falmouth, MA 02574). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (841 Shore Rd, Pocasset, MA 02559). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
