It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Gomes Sr. (Pocasset, Massachusetts), born in Wareham, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 20, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph G. Gomes and Mary Fernandes Gomes. He is survived by: his sons, Troy Brown of New Bedford, Edward Gomes Jr. of South Dartmouth and Eric Gomes of New Bedford; and his siblings, Mary Gomes of West Wareham, Benjamin "Benny" Gomes of Brockton, John F. Gomes, Damingo A. Gomes, Joseph G. Gomes Jr., Alfred "Leroy" Gonsalves, Antone Gomes and Robert F. Gomes. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren AND MANY Loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
