It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maureen O. George of Plympton, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 22, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maureen O. George to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edwin Dennison of Chesapeake and Anastasia Maddox of Bay Bulls, Newfoundland.; her husband Steven George; her children, Daniel (Meghan King), Clementine (Colin Regan), Jesse (Amy George) and Steven (Wilaiwan George); and her grandchildren, Maddie, Lucie, Rooney, Gemma, Jack and George.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home (216 Main St, Kingston, MA 02364).
In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations/contributions to Breakthrough T1D, an organization dedicated to finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes that Maureen strongly advocated for on behalf of her son Steven and her grandchildren Rooney and Jack.
