He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter L. Gerstel and Eileen E. Gerstel (Wheeler). He is survived by: his wife Frances N. Gerstel (Petrikas); his children, Diane Morrison of East Bridgewater and Andrea Thatcher of Plymouth; his grandchildren, Reace Morrison and Elise Eileen Thatcher; and his brother James Gerstel of Pembroke.
