He was predeceased by: his wife Anne (Tegan); and his siblings, Louise Titus, Joanne Uzdavenis and Arthur Herron. He is survived by: his children, Neil Herron (Johanna) of Falls Church, VA, David Herron (Carolyn) of North Easton, MA, Kathleen Milano (Chris) of Reading, MA, Philip Herron (Tina) of Wells, ME and Janine Herron of Wells, ME. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
