He is survived by: his close friend Michael; his significant other Michael Mihalik; his parents, Nancy and Bob; and his brother Paul of Plymouth.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Peter's name to the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Boston, where Peter received exceptional care these past two months.
