He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Smith and Erma Smith (Pratt); and his siblings, Leslie Jr., Phyllis Beauregard, Ann Kenney, Nancy Ewart and Patricia Bouchard.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Loring of Kingston; his son Judson Smith (Elizabeth) of Braintree; his granddaughters, Samantha and Teresa Smith of Braintree; his close friend Toni Shorham; his brother-in-law Peter Ewart; and his former wife Helen Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in his name may be made to Friends of the Duxbury Council on Aging at the Duxbury Senior Center.
