With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Thompson Smith Jr. of Plymouth, Massachusetts, born in Troy, New York, who passed away on June 14, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald T. Smith, Sr. and Barbara Moore Smith; his daughter Deborah Anne; his wife Carol Sevchik Smith of Niagara Falls, NY.; his daughters, Jennifer Smith Gallerani (Paul Gallerani) of Plymouth, MA, Beth Smith (Joanne Svenningsen) of Denver, CO and Laura Smith Steele (Adam Steele) of Londonderry, NH; his grandchildren, Thomas, Meghan Gallerani, Andrew, Benjamin, Daniel and Aria Steele; and also, Shelby and M'Lynn. He was also cherished by one of four siblings and has 2 nephews.
Memorial donations in his name may be made to the Plymouth MA Fire Department, Cranberry Hospice, or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
