Denise Parsloe-Galligan Obituary
Denise J. Parsloe-Galligan of Plymouth formerly of Quincy passed away peacefully on Friday, December 15th. Born in Quincy, Massachusetts on April 5, 1964 daughter of Julianne (Hajjar) Parsloe and the late Robert H. Parsloe. A graduate of Fisher College, Denise worked for the United States Veterans Administration as an Advanced Medical Support Associate assisting Veterans to gain access to health care. In her younger years, she became the first female firefighter for the Town of Cohasset, as well as an EMT and worked for the Cohasset Water Department. She took great pride in her strong work ethic and loved her family dearly. Denise loved the summertime, going to the beach, cookouts on the 4th of July, and being surrounded by family and friends.
She is survived by her sons Sean R. Galligan of New Hampshire, Craig Galligan of Quincy, and her daughter Desiree Galligan of Plymouth. She is survived by her brothers Robert J Parsloe and his wife Mary Lynn of Falmouth, Maine and Steven M Parsloe and his wife Catherine of Medfield. Also survived by her nieces Melia, Corinne, Victoria, Caitria and Julia.
A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on Friday December 22nd at 10:00 am at St. Bonaventure Church 803 State Rd. Plymouth (Manomet). Burial will follow at Ancient Cemetery in Yarmouthport. Memorial donations in her name may be made to Susan G. Komen http://www.info-komen.org
